V&A is fast and responsive and they do quality work. They have a wide range of knowledge from structural evaluation to I & I study to pipeline design.

The major underground structures evaluation that V&A did for us has been an extremely valuable tool. We haven't seen such evaluations done even in larger districts.

V&A really understands our organization. Not only do they make presentations to our board, but they meet with all levels of our staff— inspectors, engineering aids, and senior engineers. They know our people by name and know how to get things done.

The major sources of information on corrosion can be found at the NACE International and UMIST sites. Over the years V&A has developed a number of helpful tools for its engineers in the assessment of various structures in terms of corrosion. The following is a partial listing of available tools.

The following are three VANDA™ scales developed to assist in the evaluation of various structures: » 1. VANDATM Concrete Corrosion Index » 2. VANDATM Metal Corrosion Index » 3. VANDATM Aggressiveness Index
